I’ve been feeling grateful. Really.
Also, I’m still an adoptive parent negotiating her way through an open adopti0n.
Plus, still the mom of a really interesting and adorable kid. Plenty of material there.
And, still feeling really engaged in a job that also provides me with funny stories about life in bureaucracy.
So, what’s with the not writing?
Mostly, I want this blog to be about something other than me. Something consistent. Ha!
That’s pretty much all I got, for now.
Thanks.

Just a quick note of thanks to everyone who has dropped in and commented over the last few weeks. I’ve been having a pretty crummy time, and knowing that you are out there helps.

I’m seeing this crazy display of my blog right now. The banner photo is repeated throughout the page, and the columns are stacked. Bleh.

What do you do about comments on your blog that come from complete strangers and might be offensive, but maybe you want to give the author the benefit of the doubt? Plus, your kinda dying to know how/why this person is looking at your blog in the first place, checking out a post that’s six-plus months old. Finally, how do you write a post like this without displaying your own passive aggression?
Welcome to wordpress

Gentle Reader,
I won’t be syndicating this to lj because I am a cheapskate and I can’t see how to do it without paying for an lj account.
Please add me to whatever method you use to track blogs you read – I’d hate to lose you.
Likewise, my next task will be to track you down and figure out how to see your stuff on a regular basis.
I love change!
