I loved my cat

Which is why I agreed to euthanise him today. You know, when your vet calls you and says your cat is suffering and he thinks the best thing for the cat is to put him to sleep, well, it’s time.

I am so sad.

Oh no. I am so sorry to hear this. Poor O.C. And poor you, and Pumpkin, and Butternut – who are now cat-less.

But it sounds like it was the most compassionate thing to do.

I am so sorry to hear that! When we lost our beloved kitty of 11 years last summer to a long wasting liver tumor, it was a great hole in our lives. I *still* sometimes think I hear the click of her claws on the floor when the house is quiet.
